About Laura

Mildly dangerous founder-type

Author. Entrepreneur. Strategist. Accidental startup factory.

Laura Wing, MSML, is a mildly dangerous founder-type whose primary business strategy is apparently refusing to leave well enough alone.

At 60, Laura decided she wanted a college degree.

Seven months later, she had two.

Naturally, she did not simply enjoy this accomplishment like a normal person. She wrote a book about it, started a YouTube channel, built a blog, created Pinterest funnels, added affiliate links, made digital products, and somehow began monetizing the snacks she ate while earning the degrees.

This is why she should never be left unattended near Canva.

Laura’s entrepreneurial process usually begins with:

“Wait... I just thought of something.”

This is not a request to wait. It means a new idea has entered the building, and everyone nearby should prepare accordingly.

When Laura says those words, the thought is rarely just a thought. Within 20 minutes, it may have a name, a target market, three revenue streams, a lead magnet, and, if nobody intervenes, a planner.

There will probably be stickers.

Her husband writes trucking poetry. He thought he was writing poems.

He has a brand now.

This is what happens to people in Laura’s immediate vicinity.

She writes books, builds businesses, creates programs, tests ideas, breaks websites, argues with microphones, survives Amazon KDP, and occasionally announces that she is “done for the day.”

Historically, that statement lasts about seven minutes. Then she comes back with:

“One last question...”

There has never been one last question.

Laura’s goal is simple: turn ideas, knowledge, and life experience into things that help people and ideally make money while doing it.

Her method is less simple.

Apparently, she is building an interconnected commercial empire one random thought at a time.

And the most concerning part? Some of these ideas actually work.

Why Laura shares her journey

Your ideas deserve a fair hearing

Laura shares her journey for people who have learned to dismiss their own ideas before testing them. She hopes her stories encourage you to explore your own ideas and take the next step.

Faith and purpose

My faith shapes how I view purpose, possibility, and the ideas God keeps placing in front of me. I do not always know where an idea will lead, but I have learned to pay attention when one refuses to leave me alone.

I do not force faith into every conversation, but I never edit God out of my story.
